Dead or Alive is based on a simple five-reel, three-row grid. The game is easy to play and get into, and that’s part of what makes it a classic. Before you begin, choose your bet, with options from €0.09 up to €18.

Playing against the backdrop of a dusty old Western town, you’ll need to match symbols to try to land wins. As a storm approaches in the background, be on the lookout for card symbols from A-10. There’s also the Sheriff’s equipment including his boots, gun, hat and badge, not forgetting his glass of whiskey too. The Sheriff’s badge is the highest paying standard symbol in the game, landing five on a payline will pay out 100x your stake.

As well as the standard symbols, Dead or Alive bonus symbols include wilds and scatters. Wilds come in the form of a Wanted poster and will substitute for other symbols, helping you land wins. Scatters are represented by the two crossed revolvers and landing three on a spin will unlock the Dead or Alive free spins mode.

Landing three or more scatters anywhere on the reels will give you twelve free spins, but landing them across a payline will also payout. During the free spins round, you’ll encounter sticky wilds, and any win you land will be doubled. Any wilds that show up will stick in place on the reels until the end of the round, giving you the potential to land some big wins.
